Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Montana Boarding School, we aim to provide exceptional lake-based experiences while maintaining fair and transparent policies when plans change unexpectedly.


Refund Eligibility

We offer full refunds or store credit in the following circumstances:

  • You cancel your lesson at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled session
  • Weather or safety conditions make it unsafe or impossible to hold the session (we will attempt to reschedule first)
  • We cancel due to instructor illness or equipment failure and you are unable to reschedule

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method or applied as store credit for future sessions.


Non-Refundable Situations

We do not issue refunds in the following cases:

  • No-shows or same-day cancellations
  • Missed sessions due to late arrival
  • Lessons cut short by the participant for personal reasons
  • Rental gear that has been delivered and used, even partially

Weather & Safety Policy

We operate in a variety of weather conditions, but prioritize safety above all. If conditions become unsafe—such as high winds, lightning, wildfire smoke, or other environmental hazards—we will notify you to reschedule or issue a refund.


Rescheduling Policy

If you need to change your booking:

  • Contact us at least 48 hours in advance
  • We will make every effort to accommodate your preferred date and time
  • Reschedules within 24 hours may not be guaranteed

Business Disclosure

Montana Boarding School and Montana Boarders are operated by E-Boarders LLC, a Wyoming-registered company doing business in Montana under assumed business names.
